This storefront is currently running in local pre-launch evaluation mode. The sections below outline where confirmed shipping timelines, damaged-item replacement procedures, and mandatory food-label disclosures will be published prior to accepting live orders.
1. Shipping & Dispatch Policy
Confirmed courier partners, serviceable Indian PIN codes, dispatch preparation windows, and flat or weight-based shipping rates (configurable via NEXT_PUBLIC_SHIPPING_FEE_PAISE) will be published here before live checkout is enabled. No unsupported free-shipping or delivery-date promises are made during development.
2. Damaged-Product & Replacement Policy
Because spice blends are sealed food items, opened packs generally cannot be returned. However, if a 200g Glass Jar or 100g Kraft Box arrives damaged in transit or with a broken seal, customers will be able to request a replacement or refund by sharing an unboxing photograph with customer support within the confirmed reporting window.
3. Food-Business (FSSAI), Ingredients & Label Information
All Magik Spices blends are 100% vegetarian spice mixes (plant-origin spices only). Before live sales begin, each product entry in src/data/products.ts must be populated with the verified back-of-pack details:
- Complete ingredient list in descending order of weight.
- Allergen handling declarations and storage instructions.
- FSSAI License Number, batch/packing date format, and marketed/manufactured-by address.
4. Privacy Policy & Terms of Service
In this local development build, shopping cart items are stored locally in your browser’s localStorage, and Demo Checkout submissions are stored only in temporary sessionStorage without external network transmission. Full legal terms and privacy disclosures will be published when payment processing is connected.
